Opor Kuning T3 (Tempe, Tahu, and Egg) Recipe

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
6 hard-boiled eggs
6 pieces of fried tempe
6 pieces of fried yellow tofu
Spices (to be blended)
4 shallots
3 garlic cloves
3 candlenuts
3 fingers of turmeric
Additional Ingredients
Kaffir lime leaves
Bay leaves
Lemongrass (crushed)
Galangal (crushed)
Coconut milk (I use economical Kara sachet)
1 tablespoon palm sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 packet of seasoning (Masako)
Red chili (optional, if you like it spicy)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blended spices along with the additional ingredients such as bay leaves, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal. Also, gather the main ingredients.

  2. Sauté the blended spices in a pan until fragrant, then add a glass of water. Stir in the palm sugar, salt, and seasoning, allowing it to simmer.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a pot, let it boil, then gently add the tempe, tofu, and hard-boiled eggs. Allow to simmer, then incorporate the coconut milk and red chilies, stirring to prevent the coconut milk from curdling.

  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Stir well until everything is evenly combined.

  5. Once the Opor Kuning T3 is cooked, sprinkle with fried shallots before serving. Enjoy your delicious meal! 😋
