Ingredients:
- 500 grams ladyfinger (bhindi)
- 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 3 tablespoons oil

Instructions:
- Begin by washing the ladyfinger (bhindi) thoroughly. Trim off the stems and cut them into 1-inch pieces. Set them aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté for about 10 seconds until they release their aroma.
- Add the sliced onions and grated ginger to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions become soft and brown.
- Add the ladyfinger pieces, salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well to coat the ladyfinger with the spices.
- Cover the pan and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the ladyfinger softens and becomes tender.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and serve hot.
