Third Day Cookies/Candy Marathon

Description:
On the third day of the baking extravaganza, we dive deep into creating a plethora of delightful cookies and candies, wrapping up the delicious adventure that began two days prior. This day is all about finishing up chilled doughs prepared earlier and adding some final touches to the gift boxes. Sometimes, if time allows, we even venture into crafting sugar cookies, adorned with intricate decorations, to elevate the presentation. Occasionally, a batch of decadent fudge finds its way into the mix, adding another layer of indulgence. While the recipe for Kahlua Balls is a tempting addition, it’s not included here, as it’s a new experiment yet to be perfected. Assembling the gift boxes is an art in itself, with waxed paper delicately separating each delectable treat. For certain recipients, elegant decorative plates serve as the foundation, with cookies and candies arranged meticulously atop them, transforming the plate into a cherished part of the gift. The final flourish involves vibrant colored plastic wrap and whimsical ribbons, wrapping each box with care. And for those who prefer efficiency, the baking marathon can sometimes be condensed into two days, allowing for an early start to the gifting festivities.
